Drain Cleaning Warranty After a Camera Inspection
The short answer
After clearing the line, we may recommend a camera inspection. If it shows no condition that materially undermines the line, the technician may issue a limited warranty for the period stated on your invoice. If a recommended inspection is declined, coverage may be limited or unavailable.
Why we may recommend a camera
We clear the line and verify flow. If conditions suggest underlying problems, we may recommend a camera inspection to better understand the system. That additional information helps us advise you on long-term solutions and any applicable warranty coverage.
If the camera shows a sound line
When the line is camera-inspected after cleaning and nothing is found that materially undermines its reliability, the technician may issue a limited warranty. The period is based on the technician's assessment of the line and is stated on your invoice.
If you decline the inspection
If we recommend a camera inspection and it's declined, warranty coverage on the drain-cleaning work may be limited or unavailable, because we can't verify the condition of the line.
Conditions that limit eligibility
Additional descaling, root removal or structural repair may be needed before warranty coverage can apply. If roots can't be adequately removed with traditional cutting methods, or structural defects remain unrepaired, the line may not be warrantable.
- Heavy scale.
- Significant tree-root intrusion.
- Offsets and breaks.
- Trench rot and other structural defects.
Small drains
For sinks, tubs, showers and similar small drains, we verify the fixture is flowing after clearing it and, when we can, explain what likely caused the blockage.
