Privacy Policy

How DrainMaster collects, uses, shares, and protects your information.

DrainMaster respects your privacy. This policy, last updated October 6, 2026, explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Please read it together with our Terms of Service and SMS Terms.

Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

DrainMaster Incorporated (“DrainMaster,” “we,” “us”) is a family-owned drain, sewer, plumbing, and excavation company located at 4696 Trabue Rd, Columbus, OH 43228. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website (drainmasterohio.com), when you contact us by phone, text, or email, and when we provide service to you; how we use and share it; and the choices you have.

This policy applies to the website you are reading now. Some pages link to other sites and tools we do not operate, including our financing partner, our online payment pages, and our scheduling software. Those services have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you request service through our website form, we ask for your name, email address, and phone number, and you may also give us your service address, the type of service you need, and a message describing the problem. If you apply for a job through our careers form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the position you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us about your experience. When you call, text, or email us, we collect the contact details you use and the details of your request. When we perform work for you, we collect the information needed to schedule, complete, invoice, and warrant that work, including your service address and a record of what was done.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information when you visit — the pages you view, the approximate region you visit from, your browser and device type, and the site that referred you. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described under Cookies & Analytics below.

Phone calls. We may use call-tracking phone numbers on some advertisements and web pages so we can understand which of our marketing works. Calls to those numbers may be recorded or transcribed for quality, training, and record-keeping, in line with applicable law.

Payment information. This website does not collect card or bank details. If you pay online through a payment link we send you, that page is hosted by our payment processor, and your full card number is handled by the processor, not stored by us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your request, schedule and dispatch service, and follow up on the work we do for you
  • Send appointment confirmations, arrival updates, and service-related messages by phone, text, or email
  • Prepare estimates and invoices, take payment, and keep the records that warranties and tax rules require
  • Review job applications and contact applicants
  • Answer questions, resolve complaints, and handle warranty or callback requests
  • Understand how our website is used so we can improve it, and measure which advertising brings customers to us
  • Protect our website and forms from spam and abuse
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

We keep personal information for as long as we reasonably need it for these purposes and for the record-keeping periods that warranty, tax, and licensing rules require. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Share Information

We share personal information only with the people and companies that help us serve you, and only for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Website platform. This website is built and hosted for us by CI Web Group on its Hydra platform. Form submissions are delivered through that platform to our office at [email protected].
  • Scheduling and customer records. We use Housecall Pro to manage service requests, scheduling, estimates, invoices, and customer communication, including text-message confirmations and updates.
  • Financing. If you choose to apply for financing, your application is made directly with Wisetack, our third-party financing provider, through Housecall Pro. DrainMaster does not receive or process your financing application, and Wisetack’s own privacy policy governs what you submit to it.
  • Payments. If you pay online through a payment link we send you, the payment is processed by our payment processor (currently GoDaddy Payments, formerly Poynt) under its own privacy terms.
  • Website analytics and protection. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, subject to your cookie choices, and our forms may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which is governed by Google’s privacy policy and terms of service.
  • Call tracking and marketing measurement. We use CallRail to show call-tracking phone numbers on this website, so we can see which page or advertisement led to a call, and Searchlight’s measurement script to understand which of our advertising brings visitors to the site. Both may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device, and each is governed by its own privacy policy.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request from a court or government agency, to protect our rights or property, or to protect the safety of our customers, team, or the public.
  • Business transfers. If DrainMaster is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who would be bound by this policy for the information collected under it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses necessary cookies to function and optional analytics and call-tracking cookies (Google Analytics, CallRail, and Searchlight) to understand how visitors use the site and which advertising brought them here. We do not show a cookie banner. Instead we use Google Consent Mode v2 in its “advanced” configuration, which sets the analytics defaults by where you are visiting from.

How the analytics tools behave. We load Google Tag Manager on every page. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are switched off by default and Google receives only cookieless, aggregated signals. If you visit from anywhere else, including the United States, analytics cookies are on by default. You can turn the optional analytics, advertising-measurement, and call-tracking tools off at any time with the Cookie Settings control under Your Privacy Choices below; your choice is saved in your browser and applied on every later visit. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or ask us (see Your Privacy Choices). If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out: advertising storage is switched off automatically and the Searchlight measurement script is not loaded. Necessary cookies stay on because the site cannot work without them. Google may use the information those cookies collect under its own privacy policy.

See Your Privacy Choices for the rights you can exercise over this information.

Text Messaging (SMS)

When you give us your mobile number and check the consent box on our website form, or when you ask us by phone or in person to text you, you agree that DrainMaster may send you text messages about your service request at that number, including messages sent with automated technology. The messages we send are about your business with us — for example, confirming an appointment, letting you know a technician is on the way, following up on an estimate, or answering a question you asked. We do not send marketing text messages unless you have separately agreed to receive them.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can decline text messages and still get service from us; call (614) 276-1510 instead.
  • Message frequency varies depending on your request and your job.
  • Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
  • To stop, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one final message confirming you are opted out, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in. You can also opt out by calling or emailing us.
  • For help, reply HELP to any message, call (614) 276-1510, or email [email protected].
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share your mobile number or your text-message consent with any third party for that party’s own marketing. Our full SMS Terms describe the program in detail.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information: form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection, our website forms may use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated abuse, and access to customer records is limited to the team members who need it to serve you. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Payment Security

This website never asks for, collects, or stores card numbers or bank details, and none of our website forms has a payment field. If you pay online through a payment link we send you, the payment page is hosted by our payment processor (currently GoDaddy Payments, formerly Poynt), and your card details go directly to that processor, not to DrainMaster or to this website. Financing applications are made directly with Wisetack on Wisetack’s own pages. If anyone asks you for card details in an email, text, or website form claiming to be DrainMaster, please call us at (614) 276-1510 before you respond.

Children's Privacy

This website and our services are intended for adults arranging service for their home or business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16, and this site is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

Your Privacy Choices

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. DrainMaster does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not sell or share, there is no sale to opt out of. You can still turn off the optional analytics, advertising-measurement, and call-tracking tools this site uses at any time with the Cookie Settings control below, by disabling cookies in your browser, or by asking us at the contact below.

Everyone. Whatever state you live in, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and opt out of marketing emails using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Some records — such as invoices, permits, and warranty records — must be kept for legal reasons and cannot be deleted on request.

Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Categories we collect. In the last 12 months we have collected: identifiers and contact details (name, email address, phone number, service address); service and transaction records (the work requested and performed, estimates, and invoices); employment information you give us when you apply for a job; internet and network activity on this website (pages viewed, the referring site, and browser and device type), collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, CallRail call tracking, and Searchlight’s measurement script; approximate location (the region you visit from); and phone-call details and recordings for calls to our call-tracking numbers. Our forms may also be protected by Google reCAPTCHA. The purposes are listed under How We Use Your Information and the recipients under How We Share Information.

Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described above. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Your rights. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request a copy of it, to request that we correct or delete it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. You also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights: we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a different level of service because you made a request.

How to opt out. Use the Cookie Settings control above (your choice is saved in this browser), turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser (we honor it automatically, with no further action needed), or email or call us using the details below. To make any other request, email [email protected] or call (614) 276-1510. We will verify your request using the contact details we already hold for you, and we do not require you to create an account to make one. You may authorize an agent to act on your behalf.

How to submit a request. Email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or call (614) 276-1510 during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Tell us which right you are exercising and the name, phone number, and email address you used with us so we can find your records. We respond to privacy requests as promptly as we reasonably can and, where a law sets a deadline, within that deadline.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices, our tools, or the law change. The “Last updated” date on this page shows the current version. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice on this website. Your continued use of the website after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
