SMS Terms

DrainMaster Incorporated (“DrainMaster,” “we,” “us”) sends text messages to customers who have asked us to, so we can keep them informed about their drain, sewer, plumbing, or excavation service. The messages we send are about your own business with us: confirming an appointment, letting you know when a technician is on the way or running late, following up on an estimate or a question you asked, sharing a payment link or invoice you requested, and similar service updates. Most of these messages are sent from our scheduling and customer-service software, Housecall Pro.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages unless you have separately and clearly agreed to receive them.

You opt in to text messages from DrainMaster by doing any of the following:

• Entering your mobile number on a form on this website and checking the consent box beneath it;
• Asking us by phone, in person, or in writing to text you about your request or appointment; or
• Texting us first at a DrainMaster number.

By opting in, you agree that DrainMaster may send text messages to the mobile number you provided, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service from us. If you would rather not receive texts, call (614) 276-1510 and we will work with you by phone and email instead.

Message frequency varies. It depends on the request you made and the stage of your job; a typical service call involves a small number of messages around the appointment. We do not send texts on a fixed schedule.

Message and data rates may apply to every text you receive from or send to us, according to the terms of your mobile plan. Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions about your messaging or data plan.

You can stop receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which we will not text you again unless you opt back in. You can also opt out by calling (614) 276-1510 or emailing [email protected]. Opting out of texts does not cancel a scheduled appointment or change any service you have requested; we will simply reach you by phone or email instead.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device, and we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered promptly. If you have an urgent drain or plumbing problem, please call us rather than relying on a text message.

We use your mobile number only to communicate with you about your business with us, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your mobile number, and we do not share your number or your text-message consent with any third party for that party’s own marketing purposes. If you change your mobile number, please let us know so we can update your record and stop texting a number that is no longer yours.

We may update these SMS Terms when our tools or the applicable rules change. The “Last updated” date on this page shows the current version. Continued participation in the program after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. These SMS Terms are part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
