The Brands We Install and Recommend
The short answer
For water heaters, we install and recommend Ruud, Rheem, State Water Heaters and Bradford White. For sump pumps, Zoeller is our preferred brand. None of these is exclusive, and the right unit depends on the house, not the logo.
How we choose equipment
We start with the house: the fuel, the venting, the space, the access and how much hot water you use, or how much water the sump has to move. Then we recommend a unit from a brand we install. We don't push a brand to fill a quote.
Pricing is by job, not by brand
Our published starting prices describe a class of job, such as a standard 40-gallon atmospheric gas water heater or a standard 1/3-hp sump pump, under defined conditions. A specific model is quoted when we know what the house needs.
Warranties
Manufacturer warranties cover defects in the equipment and vary by brand and model. Our own coverage on a water heater installation is one year of labor and workmanship.
