Drain & Sewer Service for Restaurants and Food Service

The short answer

Kitchen drain lines collect grease and food solids that coat the inside of the pipe. Cabling clears a stoppage; hydro jetting scours buildup off the pipe walls. A camera shows which one the line needs, and whether there's a defect behind the recurring clogs.

Why kitchen lines keep stopping

Grease cools and sticks to the pipe wall, then catches food solids. Over time the usable inside of the pipe narrows. A cable can punch through a stoppage, but the buildup around it stays.

How we clean them

  • Small drains, floor drains and mop sinks are cleared and checked for flow.
  • Main lines with grease buildup are hydro jetted, with a camera to target the cleaning and evaluate the result.
  • If the camera shows a sag, offset or break, we explain the repair options. Cleaning alone won't stop a defect from collecting grease.

Scheduling and scope

Tell us when the kitchen can and can't be disrupted, and we'll plan the visit around it where we can. We explain what we found and what it will take before work starts. If we find something different once the work is underway, we explain what changed and get approval before any added work proceeds.

Keeping grease out of the line

  • Scrape plates into the trash, not the sink.
  • Keep cooking oil and grease out of drains.
  • Use drain screens on floor drains and prep sinks.
